NEWS/RUMORS (Jan 11th)


Joshua Dallas has replaced Stuart Townsend as Fandral in Thor. Townsend says it's over "creative differences", while it's been reported Townsend showed up 6 hours late to a screen test. That of course would be grounds to look for another actor. Previously Townsend had been cast as Aragorn Strider in Lord of The Rings and was later replaced by Viggo Mortensen.


John Malkovich has confirmed his involement with Spider-Man 4 and didn't deny he'd be playing the Vulture. Also Malkovich is starring in another comic book film replacing John C. Reilly in Red.


James McAvoy has denied the rumors of his involvement in the Hobbit and the Ian Flemming bio-pic.


The Hughes Brothers who recently directed The Book of Eli revealed they were approached by Disney to direct Pirates 4 and The Lone Ranger.


It looks like Jonah Hex is getting more money to film more scenes to compete with big summer films. Director Francis Lawrence will be on-board as a consultant. Clash of The Titans another Legendary Pictures production was also recently given more finacing to shoot additional footage.


Resident Evil: Afterlife is pushing it's release date earlier to September 10 2010.


Producer Mike De Luca has said that the Metal Gear Solid movie is on hold for now.


Chatum Tatum and Antonio Banderas will join the ever growing cast of Knockout.
