Production Weekly is running with the story that Sony is pursuing Oscar winning actor Christoph Waltz for the new Spider-Man reboot. The role is rumored to be that of The Lizard. Waltz is best known for Inglourious Basterds he is also playing the villain in the upcoming comic book film the Green Hornet.
